PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya  RPCAU, Pusa is situated in the campus of Dr. Rajendra  Prasad Agriculture University. Several other premier institutions of agriculture research are located here. Pusa is a remote locality away from the major cities. A number of employees of the central government and the University live in the campus and not many options for proper education of their children were available here. So, need for a Kendriya Vidyalaya was felt. Consequently, in February 1989, Kendriya Vidyalaya was founded here in a building provided by the University. The Rajendra Agriculture University is the sponsoring agency of this school. This is a civil sector school. This Vidyalaya  is  single  section school  from classes  Balvatika III to  XII.  Only science stream is running in class XI and  XII .
